Winthrop Harbor is home to North Point Marina - the largest marina on the Great Lakes, and Illinois Beach State Park. Rather dipping your rod from a fishing pier, launching your boat, or experiencing a trip of a lifetime on one of our fishing charters, there is no better place to catch your limit in trout, coho and the prized king salmon.
We are also home to miles of trails to hike, bike and explore within a Ramsar designated area - that is a wetland of international importance. Many endangered species of plants and animals call this home, and several migratory birds make important stops in their journey each year.
What adventure will you find?
